The Half-Life Use of Tianeptine

What is Tianeptine?

Tianeptine is a mood enhancing drug that is mainly used as a nootropic and to improve mood. It is sold under the brand names Coaxil, Stablon, and Tatinol. Tianeptine half-life is around three to six hours and is relatively short.

In addition, Tianeptine is used as an off label nootropic. It has been reported to provide users with a feeling of optimal clarity and produces sensations of extreme well-being. Although the drug is not currently approved by the FDA, it is technically marketed as a supplement for cognitive health and sold over the counter without the need for a prescription.

Tianeptine Half-Life Benefits

Tianeptine is currently prescribed in France and many other countries in Europe. It has the ability to stabilize and improve the mood of users, as well as significantly reduce the feelings of overall stress. The half-life of Tianeptine is typically four to six hours.

Recommended Dosage

Tianeptine is typically available in a 12.5-mg formulation. The recommended dosage is to swallow one tablet or pill either two or three times per day. In order for the body to have a constant supply of the drug, it is highly suggested to spread out the doses. For example, if you are taking two dosages ingest one tablet or pill every twelve hours. If you are planning to take three doses per day, then ingest one tablet or pill every eight hours. It is also suggested that new users start with a smaller dose, typically half of a tablet or pill taken in the morning and prior to bed in the evening.

Side Effects

The side effects of Tianeptine are typically mild. Some users may experience dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, low blood pressure, or vivid dreams. The drug is considered to be extremely safe and is typically well tolerated by patients that are otherwise healthy.

Long-Term Use

Not recommended for long-term use, addiction withdrawal and loads of excess side effects can and will occur. For best results take on occasion only.

Megadosing

Many recreational drug users mega dose certain medications in order to obtain an altered state. Tianeptine simply does not work that way. There are absolutely zero benefits of megadosing this drug in order to feel a high or altered state. This is due to the fact that this drug is not going to flood your brain with dopamine. It actually has the reverse effect because Tianeptine lowers serotonin levels instead of increasing them. Megadosing can also be dangerous and lead to addiction and withdrawal. Do not attempt, stick to 12-24 mg doses.

Effects of a Short Half-Life

Effects of Tianeptine are typically effective on the GABA and serotonin receptors of the human brain. It has many effects that mimic the brains natural happy chemicals, and as such is a powerful nootropic. The downsides of this nootropic are that it can be somewhat addictive, and can have a noticeable withdrawal process if it is taken on too regular of a basis. Like all other substances, use Tianeptine in moderation, the withdrawal is a nasty one. Tianeptine can have loads of benefits however if taken on occasion, and is a great nootropic that you can feel working right away! The perks of having a short Tianeptine half-life is that the drug will wear off much faster.
