New Super Drug for Those in Power!
Sources from thedailybeast.com state that Obama is taking a new eurogenic, or wakefulness inducing drug, that could show extreme similarities to the CEO’s drug and extreme cognitive enhancer, Provigil. Obama, it is stated after his newly released medical reports, seems he is taking a drug specifically designed for jet lag, and most likely similar to the “go pills” (changed to modafinil modern day) that the military and Air Force pilots use, to stay focused for long hours. If the President is on Provigil could anyone really blame him I mean, it is the Presidency? And if Obama is taking drugs to stay at the top of his game, how many other Presidents or people in power have tip toed around the issue of using performance enhancing drugs for work performance? Super Drug
Although Obama’s doctor, Navy Captain Jeffrey Kuhlman didn’t say what drug the President might be taking, whereas the reporter of the article stated her suspicions arousal, quoting “if they’re going to give him something to wake up, Provigil is the way to go.” Even if the President is taking Provigil, the drug’s effects have been significantly over exaggerated in the media, even citing Provigil as “the new Limitless Pill” and as “making it possible for the user to bypass the all too human need for sleep” stating that it can keep a user focused for up to 36 hours straight..an extreme exaggeration if my experiences suffice.
Nonetheless, though not as bad as it may seem (or as good maybe….) Modafinil does bring with it its share of sometimes hellish side effects. Of all those users report, these can include rashes, headaches, dizziness, nausea, fainting, though most of these side effects are a rarity, and medical reports even offer guidance towards the growth of the problem, stating that Modafinil if taken off label on a fairly infrequent basis, is entirely safe to experiement with, and isn’t likely to have any long term consequences. Sources at the daily beast also believe that Obama could be taking a sleep aid to help combat jet lag fatigue, such as Ambien or Lunesta, both drugs of which last up to eight hours. It makes sense that Obama could be on a possible drug cocktail as scientists still don’t fully understand how jet lag is created, and of how/why the human circadian rhythm is brought back to a more normal state. Obama’s doctor quoted the use of whatever hypothetical drugs he is taking as “Time Zone Management.”
Whatever Obama is taking, it raises the question, is the President of the United States on nootropics, and is that good or bad. I don’t know about you but with all the idiots I’ve seen lately in Congress and beyond, it’d be nice to have a President that sees smart drugs as the next big thing of the future, and not only idolizes, but partakes in their usage for the betterment of the country. So what do you think, would you be okay with it if Obama was on nootropics?
